HENDERSON, NEV.- A tradition for more than 25 years, the Las Vegas Valley's own ethel's chocolates are devoted to making every day delicious with genuine chocolate creations that are sure to please every palate.
Visitors to the ethel's stores are able to choose between five unique chocolate collections: Truffles, Nut and Caramel, Fruit, Cocktail and American Pop. At all eight Las Vegas Valley locations, connoisseurs can find sinfully sumptuous treats including authentic Artisan chocolates, homemade bark and special seasonal collections. Each piece of ethel's chocolate is homemade at ethel's chocolate factory in Henderson and contain no preservatives.
For more than 25 years, the ethel's chocolate factory has been a Mecca for tourists to Southern Nevada. Visitors are welcome to experience the free factory tour and explore the grounds of the adjacent three-acre Botanical Cactus Garden. The factory attracts approximately 700,000 visitors each year and has been heralded in the Las Vegas Review-Journal as 'the sweetest attraction in the Las Vegas Valley.'
During the self-guided factory tour, guests receive a detailed explanation of the chocolate-making process. The tour concludes in an ethel's chocolate shop, where each visitor is invited to select his or her favorite chocolate from a wide array of flavors and collections. Whether it's dark, milk or liqueur filled, ethel's has the sweets to suit every chocolate lover's tastes.
Outside the chocolate shop doors, visitors can roam through the three-acre Botanical Cactus Garden featuring more than 300 species of plants. Half of the plants in the garden are cacti and succulents largely native to the American Southwest, and the rest are desert trees and shrubs from the Southwest United States, Australia and South America. All of the plants were chosen both for the beauty of their floral displays and their ability to adapt to the climate of Southern Nevada. The garden also features a variety of desert rocks such as Utah Bali Hai 'chocolate' and Arizona moss rock from the Grand Canyon region. This desert treasure also has one of the world's largest collections of Southwestern desert plants such as the Teddy Bear Cholla and Organ Pipe cactus.
The ethel's chocolate factory is located at Two Cactus Garden Way, Henderson, Nevada. The factory and Cactus Garden are open every day of the year -except Christmas Day- from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ethel's chocolates can also be found at eight different locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley, including shops in the Fashion Show Mall and McCarran International Airport.
