Its about 5 or 6 hours drive from Johanesburg. The park has an extension of about 18000 square km, and it is relatively safe as long as you dont break the security measures, you can drive through it at about 25 miles per hour and stop for pictures in some spots. though is better to go with a guide, they know a lot of stuff and that way you dont miss anything, there are all kind of wild animals you can imagine and the sunset is pretty impressive
There is a camping zone, a restaurant and everything you could need. You can stay at a room as well, and the service is excellent. Overall the place is impressive, the animals incredible and the people is really nice, I recommend it.
